The Hamburg Architecture Centre, together with Hamburg Trade Fair / Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH will for the fifth time present the GET NORD Architecture Award in the course of comming GET NORD.

The exhibitor chosen for this award is the one whose concept of the exhibition presentation best addresses the target group of the architects.
The only joint specialist trade fair in the north for the electrical, sanitary, heating and air conditioning sectors has established itself as an important contact point for information exchange in this specialist field, including for many architects and planners.

It is precisely with the current trends in buildings systems technology, energy efficiency and building fitting out that good communication between manufacturers and architects is crucial to high architectural quality. The purpose of the award is to set up the space for communication in such a way that it relates to the planners’ perspective: How well do the exhibiting manufacturers speak the architects’ language? What communication strategies rouse the interest of architects and persuade them about a product?

A high-powered jury selects the exhibitor who is most persuasive in the way his company addresses the targeted architects.

The winner will enjoy an exclusive architects’ event on his own exhibition stand. During the event, the jury, the president of Hamburgische Architektenkammer Karin Loosen and the Managing Director of Hamburg Messe will award a highly-prized medal and a certificate.

This will be followed by a public interview with an international renowned architect who is asked about his understanding of architecture and his reception of the product presentation.
