GERMAN TGA AWARD

It's that time again – the trade journal Moderne Gebäudetechnik is presenting the GERMAN TGA AWARD for the seventh time in 2026. The award recognises projects that have the courage to go beyond the ordinary: solutions that save energy or water, have a lasting impact or advance digitalisation in building technology. New construction and renovation projects from the last two years as well as innovative concepts that are soon to become reality are eligible for submission. GERMAN TGA AWARD 2026 – application phase now open.

TGA specialist planners, students who want to contribute their own ideas, and manufacturing companies that have been part of a project with forward-looking products are eligible to participate. 

Participation is free of charge. The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2026.

• Students of TGA or related subjects (young talent award category)
• Manufacturing companies that were involved in submitted projects with forward-looking products 

What projects can be submitted? 

• New construction and renovation projects completed no more than two years ago
• Innovative concepts for projects that are about to be implemented 

All submitted projects must go beyond the state of the art and make a clear contribution to greater sustainability or digitalisation.

• All valid submissions will be presented on the website and in the newsletter of Modern Building Technology, including a short profile.
• The award offers high visibility in the trade media of HUSS-MEDIEN-Verlag and other publications.
• For planners, this is an opportunity to present their concepts to a broad specialist audience – and thus generate valuable momentum for future contracts.
• Manufacturing companies strengthen the market acceptance and brand reputation of their products through an award. 

Award ceremony at GET NORD 

The GERMAN TGA AWARD 2026 ceremony will take place on 20 November 2026 at the GET NORD InnovationForum in Hamburg. The best projects in the industry will be presented here – live, inspiring and forward-looking.
